Hi Jim and Kathy, Just got them! I poured them all in an old paint bucket and set them out on the deck in the sun to keep them warm while I finished putting the new 10 gal tank together.  Just poured the new gravel into the tank and filling it up with the hose.  Peri just ran to the store to get us a heater, some one told us these round fish like it warm.

OK….You have to admit that was a least a little bit funny.  And you have more than likely heard some stories, maybe not quite as bad.  At least not the ones that you know about.  You have to wonder how your babies are taken care of after you take such great care of them there, and pack them in a dark box and sending them out into the unknown.  Anyhow they are floating in the tank with the lights off,  and they really do look great.    Thor

Jim and Kathy, from the wonderful conversation the first time I called, till now, the day after receiving our new buddies….It is great to see two folks that enjoy and still love this hobby after putting sooo much into making it their livelihood.  It is clear that if there is a need or question on our end, you two would be happy to help.  I concur with the guy about your 2″ Discus being equivalent to every one else’s 3 inches.  I just hope that you do not figure that out before my next order.  Thank you again for our wonderfully shaped, and beautiful discus!

Hi Jim and Kathy

Just wanted you to know that my 2 new babies arrieved yesterday and are in great shape.  I fed them this morning and they ate so all seem well.  Oh and by the way they are HUGE.  I ordered 3″ and I swear their about 4″ and very, very beautiful.  They put the other two I purchased from the local fish store to shame.  I wil be placing another order in 2-3 weeks once they get settled.  Thanks for all your help!

What a shock I had when I opened my fish, they were just beautiful, and a lot larger than I expected, I had ordered Discus back in the early 1980’s and had to run around like a chicken with my head cut off looking for a 5 gal tank so they could be protected until they were large enough to put in a 55 gal. tank.  Your fish went right in the 29 gal. I had prepared for them like they had been there all their life.  What a wonderful operation you have there, I hope you never change.  I am really happy with my fish, they are just gorgeous and SO much more than I expected.  Will look forward to doing more business with you in the future.  I would never buy Discus from anyone else.   Again thank you for all the help and information that I had to have to get these Discus off to a great start.  You and Kathy know how to run a business.

I really enjoyed today and seeing all your fish.  I enjoyed meeting both of you too and seeing your beautiful home.  Your business may be and everyday task but I would love a job like yours.  The traffic on the way home was tough on Hwy 15 so at Temecula I decided to take Hwy 79 around Palomar Mountain to Ramona.  After leaving Temecula city limits there was no traffic.  I drove for 50 miles and maybe saw 2 dozen cars.  The top of Palomaar was hidden in the clouds.  There was a little drizzle as I got higher and the ride was more beautiful than I remembered.  So me and the fish cranked the music up and enjoyed a California few people see.   Thank you for the hospitality.  If I need your advice I’ll call.

Hi Jim and Kathy, I ordered a couple of red turquoise from a place in Florida.  The fish are beautiful but I was very disappointed in the size.  I odered 4″ and they were more like the size of the 2″ Blue Diamonds I got from you guys.  You and Jim have spoiled me with the size and the quality of your fish.  I am sending an email to the place in Florida expressing my disappointment about the order.  Thanks for everything!
